Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division of UFC. She is the younger sister of her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began fighting sports by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority verdict. Antonina later won a Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a Golden medal in 2011, in the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional career at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were staged in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina's last fight was at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko started the professional phase of her MMA career in 2002 after a win over Anara Baanova, during the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won 3-0 following the second-round TKO. The following two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko went on a hiatus from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she returned to the ring in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa by a unanimous vote before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion.
