Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania, received her master's in the University of Miami. Kolber started her career in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. She was awarded the Sports Emmy in Miami during her time working at WTVJ-TV. She has also worked as an anchor for WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She joined ESPN in 1993, and was one of the anchors for ESPN2 which was launched. She was with ESPN2 till Fox Sports hired her. In 1999, she returned to ESPN and currently serves as the host for "Monday Night Countdown".
